Whirlpool Cleaning Tablets

I am not sure that these work as well as some other brands. I do appreciate the date tracking that is on the box and the packaging feels eco friendly. I will use what I have but may try other brands before purchasing again.

So after a bit of research, I came across tablets that you can throw in your washing machine to clean them, so I decided to give this specific brand a shot. I've previously used this brand for their coffee maker cleaning products, so I know that they are non-toxic.The scent is very light but refreshing and these are so easy to use! All I have to do is pop one of these little pod tablets in, run the machine and voilà, all of my clothes no longer smell like mildew after I wash them! So even though these are tiny little tablets that don't look like much, they are so effective at keeping my washing machine nice and clean.You get a pack of 24 and I use them once a month to keep my machine nice and fresh. All-natural, non-toxic, effective, and affordable! Give them a shot if you think your washing machine could use a refresh!

I never thought I needed to clean my washing machine. Since I am using soap and water to wash my clothes and it comes out clean, I assume the washing machine would be as well. After 10+ years it builds up a smell I didn't really noticed until I started using this. It helps killed the oder from my old washer.It is very easy to use. Just open one up on an empty load and turn on the machine to do a wash. My machine has a clean function so I used that. I am not sure what kind of magic but it works really well even for a first time uses.Overall it is a great product and great product for the money.

These tablets are very easy to use and I appreciated the environmentally friendly packaging. The instructions were clear, and it was simple to run a cleaning cycle in my washing machine. We have a side-by-side whirlpool washer and dryer with a removable agitator. Got these because some of our laundry powder gets stuck on the sides with every wash, sometimes on top of the agitator. The instructions are very clear - open a pouch and drop into your washer. Turn on the cleaning cycle and it was spotless. Every part was cleaned off without any prep (prior scrubbing) and it smelled great. We leave our lid open after every wash to prevent any mold or mildew, also. Happy with roobi! Would get again!

This is a 24 pack of washing machine cleaning tablets. These are compatible with Whirlpool but feel like they could be used in any brand. I have a front loading machine and these work very nicely. These are tablets that come in two different colors and smell nicely. These feel like they're a good quality and are easy to use. I use these about once a month. These have a decent cleaning power and leave the washer smelling fresh and clean. Simply put one of these in and on a cycle. This comes with 24 individually wrapped tablets giving these a good longevity and about two years worth of cleaning or one year if you do it twice a month.The value on this feels decent. That's not very expensive for two years worth of washing machine cleaner, giving this a good value for the cost in my opinion and at the time of this review.Overall, these washing machine cleaning tablets Seemed to work well and were very easy to use. I would have no issues recommending this.

I have 2 LG washers and this tablet worked perfectly in both a front loader and top loader washer. I like to pop these in once every couple months and it does make a difference on the cleaning of clothes and the smell in the washer for me. I do recommend these!

I went into these Roobi washing machine cleaner tablets with reasonable expectations, but overall I was unimpressed with their performance. I ran two full cleaning cycles as directed, and when I opened the door of my LG front-load washer afterward, there was still visible residue on the door seal. That alone didn’t inspire much confidence.Equally disappointing was the lack of that fresh, “clean machine” smell I’ve come to expect. I’ve used stronger cleaner tablets in the past, and with those, it’s immediately obvious that the washer has been deeply cleaned. With these, the results felt subtle at best and borderline ineffective at worst.While I appreciate that they are carbon-neutral and septic-safe, those positives don’t outweigh the fact that they simply didn’t clean as thoroughly as advertised. For light maintenance they may be fine, but if you’re dealing with odors or noticeable buildup, there are more effective options out there.

I have used and loved Roobi products for my nespresso machines in the past. I have found them to be easy to use, economical, effective, and clean. These washing machine cleaners tabs definitely lived up to my expectations. The box contains 24 tabs, and while smaller than the name brand I've used in the past, these are half the price and just as effective. To use, you just unwrap the tablet, drop it in the tub, and run a clean cycle. If your machine doesn't have a clean cycle, you can follow the alternative directions on the box. The directions say to wipe down the drum of the washer after use to clean any residual scum you may have loosened. My drum, door, and gasket werw veey clean after use, but I do keep up with cleaning my machine and I also leave the door open after use, so I've never had a mold issue. We have pets in our house, so the machine tackles hair on a regular basis - regular cleaning cycles are a must.The tablets themselves are small and they smell good. The machine was left smell clean, not perfumed. These tablets are small, but mighty, and performed effectively. I think they could perform admirably on any brand washer. I recommend!

I am using these in the softener dispenser of my older Whirlpool washer, but I think they're doing a solid job regardless!I've had some grossness building up for the last few months, so I figured I'd take a stab at some simple cleaning solutions. I've run this a few times over the last week, and can say any of that residue and stink has finally dissipated. I'm rather surprised, since my unit is a tad older BUT does use a specific port for cleaning. I have absolutely no complaints over its effectiveness, but don't expect it to work in every machine, obviously.For the fair price point, I would argue it's worth giving a try if you have the relevant machine!

These tablets have worked great for cleaning our washer. I feel that they work better than the afresh cleaner. I know directions say to wipe the drum after use however I've never noticed an residue. I typically wash blankets after just in case anyways as to not ruin any clothes. All In all will definitely be getting these again!

I've cleaned my Whirlpool front-load washer maybe three times in the 10 years I've owned it. Embarrassing. But here's the deal, Affresh is expensive and I'm cheap. Enter Roobi - 24 tablets at a fraction of the cost. Now that is worth a try so I got them. I have a front load large capacity washer. I used two tablets because:a) I hadn't cleaned my washer in yearsb) The tablets are about half the size of an Affresh tablet so I wanted to give Roobi a fair shakeMy washer has an actual Clean Washer cycle so all I did was toss them in the tub and let it run through the cycle. If you don't have that option, there are instructions printed on the box.The end result far exceeded my expectations. Open the washer door, there's not a heavy fragrance, just a clean somewhat sterile smell. But what really stood out was the rubber gasket that goes around the door. It was squeaky clean! Like drag your finger on it and it will squeak! Guys, I can't say enough good things. I'm going to try one of these in my dishwasher. It has this odor I can't seem to get rid of. Will update this review once I do. In the meantime, try these. You will be happy with the result. Thanks!

These tablets come individually wrapped which could be a plus or minus depending on your priorities.My washer is relatively new so i didn't really notice much of a difference in appearance. I did smell nicer afterwards.The chemisty doesnt make sense to me though. it contains citric acid and various bases (baking soda, washIng soda, etc.). which seems like it would cancel out to sodium citrate so I question its ability to remove limescale. I tested the ph of the tablet. the orange side us slightly acidic (about 5) the other side was basic(about 10-11). Im not exactly an expert here though. Since pretty much all washing machine cleaners seem to use the same formula, am going to assume it works.

I got these cleanser tablets for my commercial dishwasher, and it has helped keep the limescale and grime away. The interior stainless-steel door shines and is free of buildup around the seals. The tablets work to get into the hidden nooks and crannies and to get the leftover soap residues off. These leftover chemicals and food can cause bacteria and odors to develop, therefore not giving you the best wash possible.

The directions for these wash machine tablets say to wipe down the bin of the washer after use to clean any residual. Here’s a pic of my machine without wiping it down. It looked pretty clean so I didn’t bother with the extra step. I have 4 pets in the house, my machine takes on a lot of pet hair, so regular cleaning cycles are a must. The tablets are small and they smell good, however the scent dissipates during the wash. These tablets are small but mighty and do their job. Purchased other Roobi products before (espresso machine cleaners), was curious how this would work. Just tested on an older Whirlpool Duet front load washer. I didn't have any smells/mold per se, and it appears to work just as well as the standard approved Affresh whirlpool cleaner. You drop the pod/tab into the machine, run the cleaning cycle and watch it go. Has the same issue with the Affresh, the tablet doesn't fully dissolve by the end of the cycle (just a bit remaining) so I had to run it twice.If there are still smells, it's likely because you haven't aired/dried out the machine regularly, or cleaned out the disposal compartment (yes every machine has one) on the bottom/rear.

I like that they came individually wrapped so it wont go bad or get ruined. Plus it will help preserve shelf life. I have tried one and so far it breaks down easily in the washing machine, leaves no residue that ive seen.

I got these tablets and have to say that my front loading LG washing machine comes out clean after using this. The package comes with 24 so for the price, this is an incredible value. Take a tablet, and throw it in drum and turn on the machine to the longest cycle with how water. Let it run and then wipe down the drum to remove any residue. No more smell! The drum ends up smelling fresh and clean. The tablets dissolve nicely in the water so I didn't have much residue left over to clean. I finally found an effective cleaner at a great price of less than $1/cube.

It seems like a washing machine should not need a cleaning tablet, but those who regularly do the laundry realize that it does.I have used cleaner tablets in the past, but this one is particularly impressive. I put the tablet in the tub (NOT in the dispenser) and loved the shiny, gleaming results I got. I already have it scheduled on my calendar to use it again in two weeks.I like that this product is plant-based and uses no harsh chemicals. It cleans, descales and deodorizes.I suspect it also makes the washing machine last longer. I highly recommend this product--you can clearly see the results.

Nice big box of washing machine cleaners each one is individually wrapped which is great as I store the box in the cupboard above the washing machine & dryer. They work well and are easy to use they leave my washing machine smelling good.

These individually wrapped tablets do a good job cleaning and refreshing my washing machine; this is a large supply at a very decent price.
