Maytag Cleaning Tablets

Very good cleaner for my washer. I noticed a difference after the 1st tablet. There is also a place on the box to write on to keep track of when you clean.

I like to run a cleaner tablet through our washing machine every so often to keep it smelling fresh. I don't have a Maytag machine, which these tablets seem to claim specific use for, but they still worked just fine in my machine. They are easy to use. You just toss one in, turn on the clean cycle, and walk away. They didn't leave a residue in my washer. Also, it did have a clean smell, although it wasn't necessarily "dirty" to begin with. The real selling point of these is you get a large number in the box for a good price.

These washing machine cleaner tablets worked great for me. I have a GE front-loading machine that had started to get that not-so-great odor, and these completely took care of it. They’re super easy to use — just drop one in and run an empty cycle, no extra steps or hassle. I like that I don’t have to think about it beyond that. Overall, they did exactly what I needed them to do and made a noticeable difference. I’ll definitely keep using these to maintain my washer.

These are washing machine tablets designed for the HE washers (you should check the description to make sure it will work with yours).They are very simple to use - you just throw one in the tub and start the cleaning cycle.You get a good amount for the price, if you're looking at monthly cleanings the box will last two years. The description advises weekly cleaning, but I only use my washer maybe twice a month, so weekly didn't make a lot of sense for me.To be honest, they weren't all that effective for me - I didn't notice that the washer was any cleaner than it was before, and I didn't notice any fresh smell or shine. To be fair, my washer just doesn't get that dirty, but I was disappointed that there was no fresh smell.Overall, I wasn't all that impressed, but I can't really say these did NOT work, either. Three stars.

This truly is so easy now. You simply add one tab to the washer and run it on clean. The washer smells great no more of that lingering funky smell. That one tab is very effective but it says you could use two tabs if needed. This comes with enough tabs to last a year if you do this twice a month. I like that the box is cardboard which allows me to write the date I do this in an organized manner - see photo. There is a reorder QR code on the back as well. These really do the trick. This entire package was well thought out.

I've used other washing machine cleaner tablets before but this one left a awful odor which was not there before I used it even after multiple times. I will not buy this one again.

It didn't do any better than mixing a cup of bleach with a cup of detergent.

Decent washing machine cleaner. Good and cheaper alternative. I keep my washing machine clean, so, prior to trying this product my washer is clean. Honestly, i did not see any difference after using this cleaner (like i said i keep my washer clean). It did dissolved properly though, there was no residue left after the clean cycle. Smells clean.I believe this is a good and cheaper alternative washing machine cleaner in the market. I might consider it next time if i am on the hunt for a washing machine cleaning tablet.

I have to admit, I find the branding strategy here a bit embarrassing. The listing plasters "Maytag" all over the place as if these tablets are specifically engineered for one brand of drum. Then you see they also sell a "Whirlpool" version and likely others. It is obvious keyword stuffing designed to catch your eye, and I find it a bit off-putting. There is nothing unique about a "Maytag" tablet versus any other detergent tablet.Setting the scummy SEO tactics aside, the product itself does a perfectly good job. I used this in my admittedly non-Maytag LG top-load washer.My washer did not have a particular stench to begin with, so I cannot speak to its ability to resurrect a neglected machine. Frankly, I would not trust any single tablet to magically remove established mold or mildew; you are going to need some elbow grease for that. However, for maintenance, it works well. The machine came out smelling fresh and clean, and shiny as ever.The value is the real selling point here. You get 24 tablets in the box. Even if you follow the recommended schedule, that is a year's supply. If you clean monthly like many people, you are set for two years.Minus one star for sneaky branding.

I have only ever used Refresh washing machine cleaner tablets before, but I was curious about these. Firstly, I do think they are a decent price. Currently listed at $19.99 for a twenty four pack, I appreciate that that is a full year's worth of cleaning tablets. And comparing them to Refresh, they do seem to be more cost effective.I like that the tablets are small and self-contained, and not too dusty. They seem to leave my washer as clean as Refresh ever did.

I ru this though the self cleaning cycle of my machine when it indicates that it is due, and I can tell a definite difference in the efficiency of my machine. I don't notice any smell, and am happy to have a plastic tree product. It's very effective, and really does boost my machine's cleaning power. For the money, it's a good value since our appliances were such a pricey investment. I'm so pleased!

Easy to use and effective, these tablets leave no smell, and clean washing machines regardless of brand. :-) They work with HE (High Efficiency) washing machines as well. They are smaller than other tablets, and suggest cleaning every two weeks, rather than every month. but they are a good price for a year of regular cleaning!

My Maytag washing machine was due for a good cleaning, and I usually use vinegar and baking soda to clean and deodorize it, but I thought I would try these cleaning tablets because they seem far more convenient, and I wanted to see how these stacked up against my usual method of cleaning.When I received them, I decided to try them out right away and followed the instructions exactly as shown on the back of the box. After the process was done and I was looking my washing machine over, I noticed that it was not all the way clean, there was still some residue, and there was still a slight odor. I did the cleaning process again, and this time everything turned out good.While these were not quite as effective as my vinegar and baking soda process that I usually do when doing one tablet and one cycle, these are more convenient. Perhaps doing 2 tablets per load at the same time will do the job. As for value, these are priced much better than other brands of similar products, so they are a more budget friendly option than other brands.

The tablets were easy to use on the clean cycle in my washer. They left the drum and all the seals sparkling clean while breaking up soap scum. The size of the tablets are compact and easy to store. However, they were unable to remove the musty smell from the washer. Because of this, I feel like the asking price of this item is too high. While there are many tablets in the box, and they will last a long time, they only halfway do the job. Yes the water in the machine and screens were cleans and changed as well.

I have a Whirlpool front loader washing machine that notifies me after 30 wash cycles to clean it with a little tablet. I have generally used whichever tablet I can find on sale. These Roobi tablets are a good value at $19 for 24 tablets (at the time of this review), which is approx what I pay for a non-name brand product. I used the tablet today and it works exactly as it should. I will order again.

The tabs are very effective in cleaning the washer. I use these in a front load and was impressed with the results. The tablet completely dissolved and left no residue in the drum. The gasket was clean and there weren't any weird smells remaining after the clean cycle. ** I keep my door ajar to keep mildew smells away, so I'm unsure how effective these are for machines that smell sour **After running the cycle, I simply cleaned the glass and voila... my machine is like new!

I recently bought some heavily used Nugget playcouches off of Fb marketplace, that came from a very dog friendly home. It was a steal okay no judgement 100$ for TWO Nugget sets, I had to get them! But of course I had to deep wash the covers a few times to make sure any dog hairs or scent was off. They came out brand new but my washer was a little… bleh lol. Little dog hairs lingered and it was a little dirty and dingy. But after adding two of these (yes I did 2 because I was like ok this needs a deep deep clean, let’s just go for it lol) my washer is shiny and back to normal if not better. No filmy fabric softener lines or detergents. Just clean and ready to go again. I feel good about washing the rest of our laundry as normal now. These come in little individual brown paper bag reminiscent packets lined with foil inside I guess to maintain the soap’s shape. However they didn’t really need the little individual packaging in my opinion, these are hard little bricks. I think they’d be fine without it and jsut in a reusable container with an option for refill packets. A good idea for the future to be more environmentally friendly. Btw my washer isn’t Maytag it’s an LG with an agitator. A “smart” washer. If that helps.

I have a front load LG that I used to test these. I tossed the tablet into the empty drum and ran the "tub clean" cycle.My washer definitely does get dirty because every couple weeks I will get out an all-purpose cleaner spray and clean the window. I also will clean the bottom of the gasket. I do not wipe out the tub each time as there is not visible dirt there, though there may be stuff I cannot see.I hit my 2-week point and used the tablet. The instructions do say that you have to wash the residue away after running the tub clean cycle with the tablet. That seems odd because I thought the washer was supposed to do that.After using the tablet, I did my regular cleaning to see what dirt was left.The paper towel on the left was from wiping the glass. The paper towel on the right was from wiping the gasket. That would have been about the same as had I done my regular cleaning.The tablet may clean the tub. It does not clean the window or the gasket, and obviously does not clean the detergent tray. I do not have much for an odor in my washer. The door has a clip that holds it slightly open so I do not get the musty smell (as long as I do not let the filters clog), so I really cannot say if it had any deodorizing properties.

The dishwasher cleansing tablets are effective in keeping the machines interior clean. The tablet sanitizes and cleans tough to get spots, loosening grime and washing it away. The tablets are small and dissolve completely. I am not sure why this is for a specific brand, but I am sure it works well for all. These will keep your machine clean on an ongoing basis. I use this weekly after cleaning out my filters.

Small but strong. Each Roobi tablet is sealed in its our bag, so I don't have to worry about contamination or having one of them fall apart out of the box. To use it, I had to throw it in the washing machine drum and run it on hot cycle for over an hour. Then wipe down after I finish. The results were nice, the drums were clean with no suds nor residual foam after the full cycle, and it got some of the grim hidden in the pockets. I loved using this for my coffee making so I'm glad they have this for my washing machine too.The only downside is that it take a lot of water to use. I had to run it for 75+ minutes on hot water cycle to fully clean (they always recommend to add extra rinse cycles too). So it is a little expensive to clean per wash.

One of the first things I noticed was an increased sense of eco-friendliness of this... the whole branding... all the way to the contents, which each tablet was sealed in a PAPER wrapper rather than a plastic one. I assume it is more biodegradable and much better than the cellophane plastics that they typically come in. That being said, the actual tablet inside looks to be about the same as the most budget options, though I can't say that's a bad thing overall. There is no detectable fragrances for this, to my nose, which is a plus. After running a tablet in my front load washer (which they say to use 1 tablet every 2 weeks), it left a noticeably cleaner smell inside the drum. I still saw heavier soiling and hard water deposits, which was at the fault of a terrible detergent that was used in the washer for a while. But it is entirely worth stating that this is not a miracle worker for very dirty washing machines... and I hope one day, someone with the know-how can formulate a truly excellent washing machine tablet, just like certain gold standard detergents. That being said, if you have been using good detergents in the correct amounts, this seems to work great as a maintenance product. Note that the instructions call for twice a month, rather than once a month, a frequency that is more common. I would recommend these tablets for most people's machines... but the question does still stand overall, why is this apparently formulated for a particular manufacturer? With instructions that say it will work on any machine?

The media could not be loaded. These washing machine cleaning pods do a good job at cleaning the washer. I love that this one box last for months at a great price. They don't leave any residue in the washing machine when done cleaning.
