I honestly had no idea how to clean out my machine! This product is incredible. It took a couple of rinses to get the water fully clear, but the inside of my Nespresso looks so much better. New monthly routine!

This works really well for cleaning the rotating head. My biggest issue with the nespresso branded descaling process is that it doesn't clean the spinning mechanism well enough. That always seems to be sticking, or is difficult to keep clean. These tablets are perfect for cleaning that area. They don't work as a substitute for the descaler, just as a supplement. I am going to continue to use them when the spinning thing gets dirty, but do wish they cleaned just a little more thorough.

I used half a bottle of solution and mixed it with water, ran the cleaning three times and even restarted my machine by unplugging it. When I turn it back on, it still shows the color combination to clean/descale the machine. Very disappointed and thought this would be worthwhile - I will just stick to the Nespresso cleaning kit and not waste my time with aftermarket products that just don’t do the job. I can however use the rest of this solution on my Keurig so it’s not a total waste.

It’s a year’s supply since it’s two bottles and you use half every 3 months. This makes sense since other products for cleaning coffee machines from Roobi come in 1-year supply amounts.This is much more affordable than getting descaler from Breville. And it works great! You put about 4oz of it with 32oz warm water into the tank (remove the filter first) and run two full cycles of the main head, the hot water dispenser, and the froth wand. After that, rinse out the water tank and fill it with warm water and run through two cycles again with just the warm water to rinse out any residue.I don’t know if it’s had a huge impact on the taste of my coffee or the performance of the machine but regular maintenance WILL increase the lifespan of you machine. And these machines can be pricey. So, clean your coffee maker!And Roobi products are affordable and come in a 1-year supply. You can’t go wrong!

Good descaling solution. I use it on a fully automatic coffee machine and on a "standard" coffee maker. A half bottle each works just fine. Highly recommend.

This worked well. DId a good job cleansing my machine. That said, I am not sure if it is a lot lot better than my normal routine of just using the very economical vinegar and water concoction. Definitely works and does the job.

I like to keep my appliances in good working order, and that includes our various coffee makers. This product states it’s specifically for Vertuo machines, but it’s a bottle of citric acid. You use half of a bottle and fill the rest of the water reservoir with water, then run the machine through the descaling cycle. The one thing I didn’t like is how foamy it got.

This coffeemaker descaler does the job, whether you’ve got a Vertuo coffeemaker or some other kind of coffee maker. I was glad to get this and use it in my Keurig because it has been acting up a little lately and needing frequent cleanings.Here’s the thing, though: the warning label on this product is scary! As I have shown in the photograph, it says, “Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection.” So, according to the warning, label, I’m supposed to practically get a hazmat suit on to clean my coffee maker! I don’t think so!This apparently is such a strong concentration of citric acid that it is very caustic. So I’m planning on getting rid of the rest of it. I can’t take any chances with someone getting into this who doesn’t know how strong it is.Although this gets the job done. I don’t recommend this descaler because it is so strong that it’s dangerous.

I've been adding vinegar to my machine forever, it seems, but this stuff works faster. Normally I'd spend all morning hovering over my machine and this really is absolutely effective.No aftertaste or even weird tastes. Just smoother coffee and tea.I love this.

I have used the Roobi Vertuoline Descaler for my Nespresso coffee machine, and it seems to work as advertised. It effectively removes mineral buildup and limescale, ensuring optimal performance of the machine.However, one drawback is the price. The product is a bit expensive considering the amount you receive. I have previously used a homemade white vinegar mixture to descale my machine and achieved similar results at a much lower cost.While the Roobi Vertuoline Descaler does the job well, I find it hard to wholeheartedly recommend it when there are significantly less expensive options available. If budget is a concern, exploring alternative descaling solutions might be a better choice.That being said, if convenience and specifically formulated descaling products are important to you, the Roobi Vertuoline Descaler could be a suitable option. It is easy to use and provides the expected results.

Every time I clean my coffee maker, I pour the cleaning liquid into a narrow tall cup and then soak my kitchen pull-down faucet head in it, and then I take the same cup to the bathroom to do the same with my handheld shower head. I soak for 5-10 min & then scrub with a toothbrush & rinse. This citric acid product cleaned my coffeemaker but it's hard to see the results, because we don't see all the inner workings of the machine. It *was* nice the whole kitchen didn't smell like vinegar! But the real visible effect was seen on the kitchen faucet, so I added a before/after photo.Next time, I will probably use less than I did & water it down more. I didn't know how much to use because the bottles don't have instructions (and the writing they do have is very hard to read because the print is small & not very contrasted). So I used half a bottle with 2 cups of water. I found the instructions in this listing now & realized I probably concentrated it too much, so next time I'll use less product or use more water.

Every once in a while I’ll use vinegar to descale my coffee maker, but that involves the joy that is vinegar steam. This stuff really doesn’t have any smell at all, and it worked just as well. There are some pretty significant warnings, though, about letting it touch you – so I did do three full rinses after I cleaned my machine. My water isn’t that bad, so my scale was minimal, but I’ve included before and after pictures of the heater tank so you can judge for yourself.While this is marketed for a Nespresso machine, a descaler is a descaler is a descaler and this will work in coffee machines (and other machines) of all types.

Watching this thing get all the gunk out of my Nespresso that has never had a cleaning was so satisfying! I bought my espresso maker second hand, and if desperately needed a good descaling and cleaning. After running a cleaning cycle and descaling, the water started to run perfectly clear. Very happy with this product and would recommend to anyone who needs their machine descaled!

I used this to descale my Saeco espresso machine and my GE Profile pellet ice maker. It has the necessary ingredients to descale these appliances without harsh chemicals - which I appreciate as I use them daily. 100% vegan and biodegradable is a benefit for everyone - it's nice not using toxic chemicals to clean!

For me this was so easy to use better than using vinegar like I would usually do. This gives my Keurig a fresh taste with my coffee brewed. It was very easy to clean my Keurig with this since you just put a half of the bottle in the water reservoir, and press the button for it to go through the machine several times. Then you keep doing this process until it is all gone from the machine and you might have to add a little bit more water to make sure it's completely cleaned out. After I use this it made my coffee taste very fresh since it was clean now I would definitely get another when I have a chance to.

Works perfectly on my Vertuoline Nespresso machine. Not sure what makes it specific to Nespresso, but it worked perfectly.You get about 4 cleanings out of the 2 bottles.
